1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Ideas for Wedding Scrapbook Journal on: August 13, 2008 01:15:52 PM
Hello everyone! My best friend is having a wedding in Brazil in October and I won't be able to attend due to financial issues but she totally understands. Her shower is in about 4 weeks so I want to make this scrapbook for her and her husband with lots of love from me! I would like ideas/advice/critique because I never made a scrapbook before. I've done tons of research so far...
I just thought the topic would be appropriate here since there are a lot of women who are planning or been through weddings!
So here we go:
Her wedding theme is sorta light orange or red-orange (not quite sure) and white with tropical mixture from Brazil nature. They are having it very simple and elegant. The bookbinding will be red-orange cloth with a square hole where they can place their picture. I want the pages to have more earth-tone colors, so the background of the pages would have a tan color...

I would probably do most of the design through Photoshop and make my own little embellishments.
The husband's best friend is planning to take lots of photos, so I know they'll have great photos. Plus they are planning to give the disposable cameras to the guests to take photos. I'm just looking for more input on the pages/titles and any tips. This is rough draft but if there is anything to include or take out, please let me know!

A little fat seal to make you smile.

3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Simple tote bag with a simple design... on: September 19, 2007 10:42:17 AM
This is my first tote bag that I made for my sister as a birthday present. I paint the design with fabric paint. It came along with a small makeup bag and a felt mirror.
