ok, here is a picture, it scanned kinda funny, but it works. i tried to scan the instructions but i don't know if you'll be able to read em at all. It looks pretty easy, i was just wondering if anyone had actually made it yet.

416  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: a really simple notebook on: July 12, 2004 03:03:22 PM
i made one of these yesterday and I Love It!!!!

i just got a tiny watercolor set that fits in my purse and i wanted a little purse size sketch book to take along with i, so this is perfect...
i used sketch paper inside, and used origami paper on the cover.

I was wondering if anyone had made the awesome reconstructed "color block sundress" from the latest issue (june/july) of Budget Living magazine.
(for those of you who haven't seen it, it's not on thier website, but i can scan it and post it if you'd like)

i love this dress, and do alot of reconstructing of old T's, so i am so excited to make this.
just wanted to know if you'd tried it and if there is anything i should know/do that isn't it thier directions. or perhaps, better ways to go about making it, etc.

(does this make sense? sorry--i just woke up).

I just got some vintage bottle caps that i'd ordered from my favorite supply website (www.mantofev.com) and made some pretty cool earrings....go here: http://tinypic.com/o9rc  to see them. this is the link, i'm not sure how to insert the picture into the message. sorry. There's kinda a glare but you'll get the idea.

all i did was hammer a small nail hole into the outer edge of the cap. these caps were already sort of "opened." when i use other caps, i usually use a pliers to pull each little "fold" or crimp out a little to sort of open the bottle cap up a little more...just me, i think they look better like that.

also, a quick little plug, or shout-out if you will...i'm selling some on ebay, if you're interested.  Grin
