Has anyone here mentioned finding a bottle cutting kit?  My mom had one and you could make vases and votive candle holders....all sorts of stuff.

If you are a homeowner, you could do what they do in the south and start a bottle tree. This really is only a half formed thought, but maybe you could wire them together, somehow connect them into a big sheet that you could use for a screen or covering for something.

I read somewhere (here, I think) that you should make the boyfriend sign a Pre-Sweater Agreement so he has to give it back if things don't work out.

Hahaha, I told my boyfriend that if we broke up he'd have to give back his hat and anything else I made him.

Quinoa is a grain from South America that I think celiacs can eat (my roomie in college was gluten intolerant)
Umm, and I assume most soups you could eat no problem too.

You can find all sorts of awesome recipes online and I was at the bookstore last night (a Barnes and Noble) and in the vegetarian cookbook section, I noticed a gluten free vegetarian cookbook.  I don't remember the name, but maybe you could keep an eye out for it.

Do you know how to crochet at all?  If you do, maybe just single crochet around the armhole.

So does anyone have any new ideas for some marinades for tofu?

I usually do some version of soy sauce/garlic/chili sauce but I want to try something new. 

Any suggestions?

Did turning the heel blow your mind like it did mine on my first pair?  So simple yet so cool.

Oh, and since I learned this the hard way, don't freeze the 'Silken' tofu (it'll say right on the packaging if it's silken).  The results aren't pretty. 

Yeah, I got a lot of ridicule from family too, mostly my dad and a couple of coworkers.  Eventually I got fed up and (excuse my swearing) said that it wasn't any of their goddamned business what I ate just like it isn't any of my goddamned business what they eat.  Most everyone did say 'Jeez, don't get all huffy.  I'm just joking.' But they didn't bring it up again either.  However, I'm always happy to talk about vegetarianism if they're actually interested.
