24  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Glows under a blacklight? help? on: August 11, 2006 01:22:35 AM
I'm not sure where this should go so here i am!

I need to make costumes that glow under a blacklight. They will be all black body suits, with painted/sewn/etc.. decorations that glow. Think: glowing halloween skeleton. How can I apply the design? These will be used one time, so don't need to be especially durable, and need to be fairly cheap. Brighter colors are a plus. With a regular tempera paint work? Is there something that will work better? I'm at a loss here.

26  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Pottery, Ceramics, etc: Completed Projects / Re: Ceramic Pieces (lots of pics) on: June 08, 2006 03:37:14 PM
thank you both so much. Grin

lilfishyinbigblu- what is national portfolio day? how can i find out if they have it in my area. I mostly want good photos of my 3D pieces (and large paintings) because I'm going away for college. I want to have examples of my work, but don't want to travel with the actual pieces.(bad idea!) So maybe I don't need a formal portfolio...but I want to be able to put one together in the near future.
