1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Baby's First DNA Model *pic* on: March 12, 2007 05:48:22 PM
soo cute I really wanna make this. ALSO wanted to say both left handed and right handed ("wrong way") DNA exists in nature so either way is legit! hooray for nerdyness
2  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: knit brim hat with pompom on: January 13, 2007 09:07:33 PM
almost forgot...I made this with two strands of simply soft on size 9s in k1p2 then switched to size 10s and k1p3  after it was done I knit the brim using the brim instructions from a hat from stitch and bitch nation (so props to that designer for the brim part) and then of course added sweet pompom action!
3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / knit brim hat with pompom on: January 12, 2007 08:56:42 PM
This is my first project post so excuse my lame picture quality. The hat is designed by me but inspired by a similar 125 dollar Juicy Couture and the thought that I could make it for 10.

4  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Homemade Yarn Swift (and how-to!) on: January 12, 2007 08:56:35 PM
thank you so much. I must call my dad and tell him to make me a yarn swift (he likes any excuse to work with power tools)!
5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Asherton Reversible Scarf on: January 12, 2007 08:55:08 PM

6  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Lemon/Lime fruities with a pattern (edited with pictures) on: January 12, 2007 08:53:22 PM
all your stuff is adorable and thank you so much for the patterns! I'm gonna knit them all someday when I have time and yarn.
7  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Go Hawks! on: November 12, 2006 03:05:48 PM
YA Go Hawks! We need some sprit right about now! Your hat is too cute. I have been thinking about making the same exact thing for a while but am swamped with making thrum mittens. Could you tell me how you made the chart or even post it? My own Hawkeye family would appreciate it!

8  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: tailored cardigan by Drops Design--a good first knit garment?? on: August 18, 2006 09:10:15 PM
Hmm...I'd say no if I were thinking of myself as a new knitter. I started with a top down raglan tee (ie. Grumperina's picoviili or kitchy-kichen's leaf tee) which is knit in one piece and has no seaming required. It helps you get over the hump of your first project without having to make and sew together a bunch of pieces. That's my two cents. Good luck either way!
9  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Argyle socks... on: August 18, 2006 08:53:26 PM
I fell in love with Eunny's socks too! I too am desperate for the pattern. I really love yours too, anything argyle is adorable. I wish I had the math skills to figure out sock making from scratch, I've only just mastered patternless hats!
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: New Magknits and AntiCraft! on: August 02, 2006 09:02:43 PM
Anti -craft's patterns are really cute and inspired! I mean the Bomb cozy is probubly not the most convienent pattern but I give it points for creativity. Magknits, erm...  not worth mentioning; which is sad because usually I like thier stuff.
