311  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Re: Button rings on: June 10, 2006 03:49:48 PM
Those are nifty!  I just got a big bag of buttons yesterday at Hobby Lobby in the remnants section. I didn't have any ideas for them at the time...

Is there any way we can see the underneath side of those rings?

How is it interchangeable?  Where do you open the wire up?

My great aunt started her business out by doing something like this.  She was really young at the time  and it just took off.

This has piqued my interest in soldering.

One thing I was wondering, though, is there any kind of copyright law as to using stamps (of any age)?  I don't suppose you'd be able to sell these since the art on the stamps is someone elses work.  Huh

315  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Nylon Loops - need ideas on: June 03, 2006 03:00:10 PM
Hi, all Smiley

I know how to do basic stuff with the nylon loops - finger weaving bracelets, belts. That sort of thing. I got a little weaving loom because I'd like to be able to make placemats, something similar.

Any other ideas on what to do with this stuff?

Thanks!

I like that; it's pretty.

The cap actually goes really well with the pearls.

Good job!
