does anyone have any idea where I can get a tutorial for the carpetbag type satchel Amelie Poulain has in the french movie Amelie? i have searched high and low, including over two hours on this beloved site. it is the bag she is seen carrying throughout the movie with the tapestry style fabric, metal clasp, framed (maybe) mouth and rectangular hard-type bottom with the little feet on it. if anyone has any info, i am deeply in debt to you, and you will be my hero.

here are some shoes i have had for about 4 years.... after all this time i wanted to wear them again. of course all of your inspiration helped immensely (sp?) with just some ribbons, a couple of buttons and e-3600 (luv that stuff)----> this is what we get...

hi all,
i had an orange shell type seersucker top from savers.(luv that store).... as i dont have a before foto, it was a plus size a-line top; nothing at all glamorous.

then i took it in with princess type darts cut to a low v in front & back, banded the neckline with self material....added four little cute buttons in the back, but have since changed those because the ribbons i used to make the thingies to hold the buttons were too big. now they have gold sailor buttons instead. when i say it's retro... to me it looks very 6o's when i wear it with my capri jeans rolled up and a matching chiffon headscarf with my cat eye glasses. one of these days i will have my hubby shoot a foto of me and will edit this to show my ide of what i maean.   here ya go-------->

   the front also has a little shirring and accented with a very old shank style button.


oh, yeah the zipper doesn't match the fabric.... i told you iwas impatient...  

Imagine a very xl red coca cola t-shirt....(sorry, no before shot)

then after a lot of cutting, & draping on my mannequine, aMi jr.

the back is actually two seperate pieces.... the strip that covers the bra strap is unattached to the rest of the back.

Hi, this is my very first post with photos!.... whoo hoo.
i was bored one day and looking throught the linen closet and noticed this sheet was awfully purty
so i decided to make a dress. so i used a pattern for the top bodice and then winged the skirt and back bodice.
the zipper is a little crooked (due to my impatience) and i used a bow on the back to hide the fudgies i made.
hope you enjoy....cuz i always look forward to seeing all of y'alls stuff on here, i finally thought it was my turn to
reciprocate....



and the back has a godet ....just to make it pretty  

Can i just say .......ok i am a little slow getting around the net sometimes..... this place (reprodepot) f**in' rocks my socks. there are so many things i loooove on this site, i almost broke down with the credit card and bought as much as i could..... but i really should pay my car insurance first, right? i mean, i am supposed to act like a grown up sometimes......   ..(yeah right)   


i am sure a lot of you all out there feel the same way as i do... ijust had to share or else i would have exploded... it happens to me sometimes.
