I'm so original with my title.  Grin  I finished this pattern a few weeks ago.  It is the surprise pattern for the Fall issue. http://knitty.com/ISSUEfall07freeworldgame/PATTjunoregina.html   I used two skeins of Hazel knits in the Green lake colorway.  I loved working with this yarn.

3  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Knucks, way too late on: December 03, 2007 02:48:21 PM
I tried to make a pair of knucks a year ago, but I fail they came out huge.  So this Thanksgiving weekend I tackle the pattern again.

I made them out of Rowan felted tweed.  I used the magic loop method instead of the DPN's.

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / most prized crochet piece. on: December 29, 2006 01:08:05 PM
Hello all, I wanted to know which is your most prized crochet piece and why.  It could be something that you made for yourself or for someone else.  Mine most prized crochet piece is a bag I made about three years ago.  I pretty much use it everyday.  Its made of omega la espiga, which is a strong nylon yarn.
So tell me which is your favorite crochet piece? If you have pictures post them also.

7  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / super warm throw on: December 29, 2006 12:34:15 PM
I made this simple throw for my boyfriend's mother for christmas.  It is lion's homespun.  It it super warm, at the end I didn't want to give it away since its so warm.  I had an accident when I was weaving in the ends.  I made a huge the size of a tennis ball in the middle, but I was able to close it.
and a close up of the stich and colors

Now I need to make another one for myself.
8  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / I finally finished!!!! star blanket on: November 28, 2006 10:39:32 PM
I did the very popular star blanket, and it took forever.  Not that it was hard, but because as the blanket got bigger the rounds took longer to complete.  I think it took a few months to finished, but I was also doing other projects.  Okay, enough talking the pictures
I made it out of simply soft.
9  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / memo felted bag on: November 13, 2006 12:46:20 AM
I made this awhile ago but just got around to posting it. I found the pattern on crochetpatterncentr al under the felt section.  I love this pattern, but I don't like the yarn that I chose.  I used patons classic marino, I really don't like veriagated colors, so I don't really know why I bought that color.  Next time I will use a solid color or make one with strips. Its a really easy pattern and the shape is one that I like.  I will a a lining to the bag and think which of my friend will like it for christmas.
10  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / my monstrously huge fetchings on: November 13, 2006 12:39:14 AM
I made fetching from knitty and they are big one me, and I consider myself to have big hands.  I did not follow gauge so thats what I get.  I used the recommanded yarn and I have to use a little more from a second skein.  I also left out the picot bind-off.  Next time I make this I will use smaller needles
