1  Help covering bag flap properly in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions by riotgirl329 on: July 16, 2006 10:13:50 PM
So I bought this bag at ShopKo for $15 cause I figured I could make it look a lot cooler and use it as a backpack. Inside though, it has this ugly pattern and I want to cover it up with this blue fabric. I don't know how to sew it though...I'd have to do it by hand because my mom's sewing machine is just for mending. I don't mind hand-stitching it...it keeps me busy. Could someone help me with detailed instructions on how to sew this properly [so you don't see the stitches on the other side and whatnot...the kind of thing I would've done]?

The bag flap is about 13x13 and I think the blue fabric should be plenty big.

Help's appreciated...thanks much Cheesy
