Here are some pictures of a T-shirt I stenciled to give to my kid brother for Christmas. The image is taken (and revised somewhat) from a panel in the graphic novel Watchmen
by Alan Moore. He introduced me to the book and now we're both pretty well obsessed.

And a picture of the process. I cut the stencils from 4 or 5 copies of the enlarged image (made on my computer scanner) covered in contact paper. To paint the shirt, I used Jaquard Neopaque fabric paint and some cheapo firm-bristled brush. At the end I went in with a tiny brush to add the stars and facial details.
