Here is the project we did for Halloween this year.  The whole family got into and we had a lot of fun with it.

2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Discussion and Questions / QR code stencil question on: November 04, 2012 10:00:43 AM
Hey!

My husband signed up for Movember this year and I am trying to make him a "stach" shirt.  We came up with an idea to put a QR code on his shirt so people could snap a picture and it will link directly to his Movember page.

Because the QR code has to be exact so that smart phones will pick it up, what do you suggest is the easiest way to put it on the shirt?  I was thinking maybe an iron on transfer?  But I don't want it to wash off or look cheesy.

any ideas, thoughts, sugguestions?
3  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / My wannabe Dickies bag on: October 02, 2006 08:11:21 AM
I love the Dickies purses, but I hate paying for them.  So I made my own.  I think I am going to put a snap on it.  or maybe velcro, but not sure.  What do you guys thing?

My new favorite one is the pink one, however its too big for me so I think I am going to make a smaller one.

The blue one is my first attempt at a placemat purse.  Bought the placemats at K-mart for a $1 a piece.  bought four of them.  I love em!

5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / a pink laptop bag on: October 02, 2006 08:05:07 AM
So I made my own version of a laptop bag since my boyfriend took his backpack back since school as started again.  The handle I sewed in an old padded strap from my old backpack so that it would help be more comfy.  The flap is not centered completely, but I plan on one day removing it and re sewing it.  One day that is.
