1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / help with t-shirt design on: September 27, 2006 03:22:39 AM
Im not quite sure in which forzum to post this, so sorry if its wrong here.

Im just painting a t-shirt for my friend with a picture of his guitar, i pretty much freehanded it, i only used a piece of paper to get the neck straight.
so my question:
should i leave it like this (of course some smoothing the lines a little bit and such stuff) i seem to like it being so simple.
or should i fill in more detail?
use some different colors (i got some silver paint, too)?

what do you think?

the photo changes it a little, the lines are smoother and better looking.
2  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / some punch (now definitely blue;-) ) on: September 26, 2006 03:38:34 AM

i have some blue curacao left overs and i would really like a blue or green punch.
any ideas ,recipes?
3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / un-named but not unloved hat(much violett curderoy and many photos) on: September 12, 2006 09:53:12 AM
I made it for  a friend, so its  a little small for me (but it fits her quite well)

its the left side, she can remove and reattach the "ribbons" with a little hook.
and i fixed the button on top so its flatter

the other side

front, you see its a little bit to small, but thats good or i would have kept it (though if i do another one for me i will make it green)

you cant see the lining which is bright green  Smiley
does anyone know what type of hat I produced?
4  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Black Rose (immortal) skirt and striped skirt. on: September 03, 2006 10:52:04 AM
Whenever I worked on the first skirt I thought of the song, so I hade do do some other Black Rose stuff as well (some felt appliques,hairclips..)

I took some pics (with my mobile so they arent that good).

I m rather glad how this one turned out, the fabris is super soft and moves nice when I walk/dance.

seems behind me my closet exploded  Wink
this one is  a birthday present for a friend, it looks much better on her (its to big for me and keeps falling down  Cheesy )
the pics dont do the fabric justice, its more beautiful.

                                                                      closer up on the fabric

matching flower made of leftovers and beads.

Both were pretty simple, I didnt use a pattern and for the first time Im satisfied with the zippers.

6  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / looking for a good way to pack seeds on: August 20, 2006 03:56:06 AM
my friend is interested in flowers (studying biology) and as her birthday is in september i wanted to give her some seeds i collected.
now i'm looking for a nice way to pack them.
unfortunately all my film boxes were used up for collecting beetles.
and i dont want to make little fabric or paper pouches because last year I made her an "advent calendar" (couldnt find the word in my dictionary, do you know what i mean?) with little pouches containing beads and stuff.
what i want:
they should be small, i would like to be able to put a picture and the names on them and perhaps some small description (or i'll do a booklet)
I' ve about 30 seeds, so i will need many packs and therefore the material shouldnt be too expansive or hard to get.
I thought about little origami cubes forming one big cube (or perhaps something like a soma cube, but I'm not sure how to connect them.
Ideas?

I hope I explained it right my school English never contained much crafty vocabular Grin

The ring above the leave are 5 little red beads and in the middle of the leave (which is a shimmery light green) is a drop of green "gem".
