Are there any Townsville craftsters out there who are interested in a new craft group?
If you sew,knit,crochet,snip,mould,bend,glue, whatever - if you are making stuff - we need you!
We'll be meeting in the CBD (Friday night and/or Saturday afternoon) to make stuff, enthuse each other, eat yummy snacks and probably talk a lot.

Just about killed my hands making this and it's kind of ugly, but I have chanelled my grandmother (who used to crochet plastic doyleys to sit her pot plants on!) and made a bag from plastic shopping bags. I don't think I'll do it again because it has really hurt my hands; they are aching!


It's amazing how much colour variation there is in these bags!

This little bear is only 6" high(in these pics he bigger than lifesize!!) and my daughter has been making clothes (and a cupboard to put them in!) for him for quite a while now. I think she's done such a great job that I told her I'd put photos here for everyone to see.

Little Noah (or Wittle Noah!) is the cutest little bear on the Earth. He was only $1.50 - good deal, I'd say.Seeing as how he was so cute, I decided to try some clothes on him. It started off with a barbie t-shirt and ended up with his own wardrobe!

Yee Ha! Found these blocks last night in a box. I made them three and a half years ago and today I sewed them all together (this photo shows them layed out before I stitched them together, but the light's too dull now to take a good pic of the finished top). Thinking about maybe adding a border, but I don't know I love making scrap quilts to use up (??) the leftovers in my scrap basket. Funny how I never reach the bottom of the basket
