1  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Sackboy, and his first friend on: July 07, 2009 05:50:45 PM
Yay Little Big Planet! The funny thing here was my Great Dane's (Zobo) reaction to him. She went from terrified to in love about 14 times in 15 seconds. But now she won't leave him alone lol

2  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Mario Block! on: July 06, 2009 08:53:40 PM
And this my friends is just proof that crochet makes dreams come true! I have wanted my own Mario Block since the first time I plugged in my NES. So YAY! I made a box cut out of comic book backing boards (I wish I was making this nerdyness up) and formed a happy cube, and crocheted the grannyish square covers and felted on the question mark! And voila! I have my very own nerdy dream. I just took a picture of the grow mushroom. But I also made a 1-Up, Star, Poison Mushroom, and a coin.

3  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / So....I crocheted my husband on: June 23, 2009 03:08:08 PM
I think I am getting the hang of this making patterns stuff! I was looking for a project to start last night and while looking through Creepy Cute Crochet (a book I love, but sadly I am just horrible at working in joined rounds) And thought I would try to make one of her great patterns in spiral. And the crocheted David happened! All the accessories I made because I think my husband turns into a viking when I'm not looking. Which I made a pattern for the viking hat just let me know if you guys want it =)

Oh! Look a treasure chest! I wonder whats in there?

ZOMG! I'm a Viking with a big freakin axe! DING!

Here are the happy twins! And yes he is wearing the same colored Nike shirt as his Ami...he is a wee bit predictable with his outfits =D

4  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Zelda Fans UNITE! Octorok Boss Amigurumi *pic chubby* on: May 07, 2009 11:54:09 AM
*fooomp**fooomp* Boulder to the face! This is my first Amigurumi without a pattern, so I hope you guys like him! This is the Octorok Boss from The Legend of Zelda, The Minish Cap. I started him last night and just couldn't put him down. Let me know what you guys think!

Beware the Octorok!!

Even scarier from the side eh?

Top view of his foliage, which is my favorite part I think. Also where you have to throw the boomerang to defeat the evil monster!

5  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Sushi Roll Hook Holder! on: April 27, 2009 06:56:36 PM
I really wanted a nifty way to carry around my hooks, and I came across this pattern and fell in love! I changed the stitch for the hook holder to better suit me and the kinds of hooks I use, but other then that..I <3 it!

All rolled up!

Another one *better view of the tie, which was my first afghan stitch!*

TADA! unrolled!

Meet the odd couple! This year for Christmas I made my husband two of his favorite things. An Ankylosaurus and a Rhino, I made the Rhino a little fire to stomp out as well. I hope you like them!

This is Spike (Ankylosaurus)

From the back (His tail is my favorite part)

And Stomper the Rhino

8  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Baseball caps? on: November 18, 2008 12:44:56 AM
My husband has a huge collection of baseball caps from his punk rocker days that he loves beyond measure, but since he grew up to be a buisness man he doesn't get to wear them much anymore. So I was hoping that the brilliant brains of craftster could help me think of a way to reuse them. I would love to find a way for them to be useful again! Any ideas you have would be great!
9  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Yay for stenciling on canvas (first post!) on: July 09, 2006 02:29:39 AM
This is my first stencil and first post, so I'm a newbie all around =)
I had some canvas lying around from a must buy bargin (1$ per canvas, I couldn't help it!) And since I couldn't take my naked walls any longer I thought I would give stenciling a try. I am really happy with how it turned out, I think I might be a stenciling addict now. Thanks for all the helpful tuts everyone =)
