3  One question about a dress in Clothing: Discussion and Questions by ziabox on: December 15, 2006 07:38:44 PM
I want to make this dress for my husband's office xmas dinner. I have the fabric and everything. I'm not making it exactly like it but i really like the the shape.

I see that it doesnt have darts. Can i make it without them even if the fabric doesnt have any streach to it? I'm not sure about it.
Help!

5  First knitting project: a scarf, of course lol in Knitting: Completed Projects by ziabox on: October 11, 2006 02:07:27 PM
I just started knitting because of a swap i was in, the fill a coin purse swap, and my partner indieanajess sent me a wonderful package filled with knitting supplies. So a big thanks to her!
I made this scarf with some acrylic yarn my boyfriend got me so i could practice.
It's just the basic knitting stitch. It's very short but i'm so happy with it.

ohh yeah, those look like that because i used an old pair of pants from my hubby and i used the real cuffs from the original pants. It's more of a recon heheheh but hey, use what you have.
The old pair of pants was stained really bad from when we painted out appartment so i used the wrong side as the right side.

here it is turned inside out.
