Wow that looks great on you! I love the color, which yarn did you use?

Wow that sweater looks great, I am making the Jolly Roger for my husband... maybe I will do this one for myself!
263  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Re: FO: Skullholder turned into a man-purse on: June 08, 2006 12:41:51 PM

did you crochet both colors at once, or did you break your yarn to change color?  can't tell from your stitching.

I carried the contrasting color yarn along the wrong sides, on the skull side it got messy on the wrong side, on the spike stitch side it wasn't too messy because the yarn only changes color at the end of the row. I thought about lining the bag so things wouldn't get caught on the strands inside but it hasn't been a problem yet- I might still get around to lining it, but there are so many other fun projects in this book to work on...
264  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / FO: Skullholder turned into a man-purse on: June 08, 2006 11:50:08 AM
I started the skullholder and thought it would make a fun little man-purse for my son, he loves it! I did the front according to the pattern and the back us just a square of the same size done using a spike stitch.

265  CROCHET / Projects from The Happy Hooker by Debbie Stoller / Seja Set on: June 04, 2006 08:11:59 PM
I finished the Seja Set just in time to send in the mail for my sister's baby shower! I think it turned out quite cute but the gauge was off a little on the blanket- of course it is not a full size blanket, in the book it is described as a stroller/car seat blanket & the size is perfect for that. I hope the little nephew enjoys it when he arrives!
