2  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Discussion and Questions / Interchangable embroidery??? on: August 20, 2010 05:29:33 AM
Hi all!

I love all the cool machine embroidery patterns around nowadays but I already have like 30 sweaters and hoodies. Can anyone think of a way to make interchangable patches? That way I could just use one sweater or hoodie (aline skirt even!) and change the design to my ever changing mood. Velcro would be too bulky I think.

Thanks for any ideas!!

5  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Adam Ant shirt on: May 03, 2004 03:12:53 PM
First, I'dlike to say hi, and that I  am so glad i found this website! You gals are truly inspirational! Cheesy

All this stencil talk (and some New Wave radio) made me think maybe the Adam Ant pix I had would make a cool stenciled shirt. After messing with it photoshop, I decided maybe a "hand colored" iron on may be the best way to go. We do have a professional heat press (god bless the flea market) so I can do inkjet ones in 30 seconds!

I may still try it as a stencil later.
