my mom and i tryed making one of these for the longest time when i was younger, thanks for putting up a tute for this! i'm sure we'd both love to work on the one we started over 5 years ago, thats laying in the closet somewhere!!

i put a box out where my fiances sister works at, that had a pic of my 8 year old niece, and made a sign for it that said "please leave your tabs to save [name here] from cancer"

but then i thought that would be really cruel, and mean, and it really didn't even get past just me laughing about it. i'm a cancer survivor, and it just would be mean.

but seriously, i just get a guy my fiance knows that collects cans to save me the tabs. i get like 200-300 from him a week.

i love it! and i have that same phone. :]

maybe get one of those clock mechanisms at michael's, make some "hands" for hands, and then make your smiley for the back.

it took me forever to learn that!

my fiance and his dad made us 3 of those.
and i made the pillows.
it was really easy to make (both couch and sofas)

we live in the upstairs of his house, which was custom built, and the part we live in was made like to be an apartment for him. its amazing, and just like living on your own. the living room area is huge, so we have 3 of those arranged exactly like in the pic.
and the pillows say "ashley" "and" "tommy"
in goes great with our wood coffin which is actually a real coffin from the early 1900's. (before they were made square)

you should def. go for making it yourself.
