1  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Sewing a cut out. Got any ideas? on: July 18, 2006 02:15:00 PM
Hi All!

I've made a jordy purse and added a front pocket the same size as the front of the purse. However, on the pocket I cut out petals like for a flower so the pocket is see through in the shape of a flower. I obviously didn't think this through because how do I sew it with nice edges? I can probably sew one petal and have no problem with turning it right side out. However how do I do the rest? I wish I had a picture so I can explain it better. But I'm hoping all you crafty folks can help me out with this!

Thanks!
