Ok...we are gonna give this another go.

We agreed on extras...I just hope that her daughter isn't disappointed when she receives.  I always get craft anxiety.

First, there is this adorable card that she sent along to my son letting him know how much fun it was to craft for him.

A cute Creeper bag...I'm sure he will find many uses for this.

A set of magnets, my guess is that these will end up in his locker at school.

A treasure chest...how cool is that!?

And perhaps the coolest thing ever...A wolf head on a plaque!

I haven't given it to him yet.  It will be a surprise for good grades that should be coming out later this week.

Thank you SO much Makaylee!!!

I finally had a chance to take pics of my offer.   Smiley

These are supposed to be rice heating pads... but then I got to thinking that some of you may be more interested in having then stuffed.
Also, I do have cats and they did help me make these... so if you need them unfilled to wash first, let me know.

I only have them one pic because my computer is being difficult and I am using me phone.
They are all cotton except the green and the sports one... they are fleece.
Let me know of you have any questions.

I am SO sorry I flaked on posting pics the other day...the weekend came and then this week started w/field trips...I completely forgot... Shocked

However...here is the poppet that I received from dfabbric.

I love, love, love her 'skin'!  Smiley

When I requested a pet, I was thinking a cat or a dog...but faries have UNICORNS!!!

The whole package.

She COULD NOT have made anything more perfect.   As a kid, I collected unicorns and faries...however, I don't 'believe' that I told her that.

I can't wait for my daughter to see her  Cheesy...but she has to wait until the mini-poppet is over, cause that one is for my son. Tongue

Thank you so much Morgan for organizing and dfabbric for partnering.

Ok...so it took a while to get everything together...be prepared to be awed (I was).

I asked for a clock for my daughters room - and my partner delivered beyond belief!

The whole set

All the little details.  Smiley

They are having a tea party!!!  How cute is that!

Something sweet in the sugar bowl.

Josie was so, so happy when her package arrived the other day.   Normally, if I haven't sent out, I don't open the package, but she wasn't going for that.   Cheesy

Hailey, you did a fantastic job on your crafting!   We were all very impressed.

On to the pics - cause I know that Hailey has been waiting.   Cheesy

Opening the box...

This is all of the made crafts!

A doll - more on that below
some awesome pokeball stuff - a magnet, barrettes, a ring, a cute little box for it all and a drawing
a bracelet w/Josies name
really cute dog and cat pic frames (at least that is what we are using them for)
a pretty "J" for her room - all glittery and pink
a little face plaque - which looks like Josie

I don't know how I forgot, but Hailey also made Josie a God's eye craft and included enough stuff for Josie to make 2 of her own...including hand written instructions!

There was a huge amount of spoiling!  I didn't get a pic of this stuff...it disappeared rather quickly - but Hailey also sent Josie some fun (and just the right sized) lollipops, some fun stickers, a butterfly bead craft.

I hope I didn't forget anything....

Josie that this was cool...its a ceramic flower in a pot to be painted, but the flower is on a spring...kind of like a bobble head.

A pic of the doll by herself.  This is awesome...great job!

Josie REALLY likes this - she has named her Hailey and has taken her EVERYWHERE!

Joise and Hailey at the dam we explored yesterday.

Hailey wrote Josie a nice note to go along with her goodies.

I finally had a chance to sit down and upload pics of the awesome package that hlillie sent to me.

First up...this AWESOME WIP bag!!!   Oh My Goodness...it is HUGE!   The photo does not do it justice, it is beautiful.   My mom is SO jealous - she has tried several times to sneak it home with her...I have to keep an eye on it while she is around. Cheesy

A shot of the inside - its not the best pic, but gives an idea of how deep it is and all of POCKETS!!!

Along with the bag is a hook roll - which I needed in the worst way.  It matches the bag!!!  I LOVE IT!

The box was chock full of yarn - hlillie said that  she had gotten the yarn for a blanket, but then didn't end up making it - she asked me to send a pic when I make something from it - which I absolutely will do.

The bag and hook roll quickly became part of my 'must take w/me everywhere I go' collection!

She also sent along some starburst - but my kids scammed the bag before I could get a pic taken.   Cheesy

Thank you hlillie - you are very talented and I am very luck to have you as my partner.

OK....I am FINALLY getting my pics of the fantastic package that I received from hillie up.

Its been a crazy-hectic week...kids last week of school, couple of interviews and then starting a new job last wed.  However, now I have FINALLY gotten a bit of control over my rust time management skills.

So, here is the goodness that I received!

This is everything

First off are these awesome bags!  We spend a lot of time at the library, so that bag is so fitting.   I love the cherry one!  I am trying to be more green, so this will come in handy also.

Then there are these super cute flowers!  I have a vase that I am thinking of putting some pretty glass and these in for my desk.

These really cute clothes pins are going to work too...so much prettier than the black clips at work... so these are headed for my desk too!  And as an added bonus, they have a cute bag too!  Smiley  These were inspired by my wists.  Cheesy

Check out these coasters!!!

INCHIES!   I got INCHIES!!!!  and they are adorable!!!!   I LOVE them!   I have NO idea what to do with them...but I LOVE them!!!

Then there is the 'mystery' item!  Smiley
I think it is a heat bag - like that goes in the microwave...it comes with a pillowcase that can be washed, which is very cool -and I really like the dots!

In addition to ALL of that was some very cute fabric
a couple of button cover kits (I actually crocheted a little purse for my mom for her birthday, but COULD NOT for the life of me find the right button...but I have the PERFECT fabric!  I never would have thought of making one.  THANKS!)
Some yummy chocolate covered pretzels (her fav. sweet/salty snack) - they were claimed by my kids right away
Great smelling soap...I have it on the back of the sink, so it didn't make the photo.
Stickers...local (Utah), AB bags (even the stickers are cute!) and some cute flowers that my daughter claimed.
some sharpies and pens...and yes, they are going to work too.  Smiley
a bone folder, which hillie says comes in handy for many things - I'll have to put it to good use.
Some kool-aid singles (which made my kids happy since they don't get kool-aid very often) and some werthers...yup for work.  Smiley

I am probably forgetting somethings...the box was overflowing.

My 2nd project is coming along nicely and I am very excited for her to get it...I will be posting those pics in a more timely manner.

8  Re: Little Visitor Swap Round 12 - Summer Fun! (S/U to May 13/10; S/O May 21/10) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by pkwj on: May 12, 2010 05:23:13 PM
Yay, I made it!   Grin  I think this just sounds like fun...but I didn't have an LV to send out, so I had to get crafty.   Wink

Introducing Betty!!!

I didn't have anything to send, so she was 'born'.   While this isn't the best picture, it does show her small size...but don't let her size fool you, she is a sucker for a good time. Grin

Both of my kids asked for her, so I am guessing that when she returns from her trip she will find at lease a couple of new friends waiting at home for her.

Ok...I am FINALLY posting pics of what therobotsays sent to me.

She made the cutest fantail goldfish...my favorite fish.

And the most awesome mobile for my dining room...2 clouds and a dragonfly.

We seemed to be on the same wave length on this swap...cause she came oh so close to receiving clouds too...along with her betta fish.  Smiley

I got a great package from Lunanne the other day!  Couldn't find the camera cable 'til today though. Tongue

Ok...here goes.

When I opened the box...

She made 2 wonderful bracelets...

Some kitchen stuff - that are the exact right colors for my new kitchen.  A scrubby, dishtowel and 6 (yes 6! dish clothes)

And a very nice cross-stitch of butterflies...also for the kitchen

Some extra goodies

She also sent goodies for both of the kids too...my camera refused to take good action shots, but they were SO excited w/their surprises!

the pencils have made their way to school and the socks have been worn with glee

And my very favorite...

A family ring!!!   I LOVE stuff like this.
Now, I don't know if I actually put this information anywhere on here or not...but I don't remember doing it....however, the beads that she used to represent my family are actually the same colors as our birthstones.  My daughter and I in Oct (pink), my son in Nov. (yellow) and my husband in Aug (green).
How freaking cool is that!!??
