My husband and I recently reconciled after a period of separation.  Everything is working out fabulously, but I would like to make him something to show that I'm happy for us and I love him.  I tried painting something, but I didn't like it.  Tell me about some of your more lovey-dovey crafts that you've done, so I can get some ideas!

I'm a mom, so my subject matter is mostly my daughter at this point.  I'm not your typical Mommy scrapbooker though, lol.  I would love to see what you think!  (Note:  the dividing line in some pages are due to being scanned in sections and "stitched")

My husband and I have decided we want to do a mural in our daughter's room.  He told me to start thinking of ideas, but I'm blank!  I could draw/paint just about anything, as long as it doesn't have to look too realistic.  She's four, but she doesn't like cutesy stuff (and neither do I, really).  And I want it to be something she'll still like when she's older.  She loves flowers, polka dots, and I find that she is attracted to retro stuff. 

I'd love to hear your ideas!

I just made this little scrapbook/photo album...real easy.  I just bought a cheapie spiral-bound scrapbook...I think it was $6 from Michael's.  I took the cover off to work with by bending the ends of the wires so they'd fit through the holes and rotating the spiral around to the front.  I had to bend the spirals themselves up a little so the cover would slip off.  I used the coordinating paper (KI Memories) and glued it on, wrapping the edges around to the inside cover like you would if you were wrapping a present.  I coated it with watered down Tacky Glue.  On the inside cover, I used another rectangle of paper to cover where the raw edges were.  Then I took put a b&w picture I took last summer in the metal frame (Making Memories) and stuck that on the front.  I put the cover back on and fixed the spirals around to where they were originally, and I was done!

This was inspired by Missy's calendar girl clock.  I made it to send to my in-laws, who live in London and hardly ever get to see our daughter.

It says "We love you...all the time".  I got the clock from Target for $3.99, and it came apart very easily.  Then I just used the original cardboard that had the numbers printed on it and decopauged.  The pic is of my four year old daughter.  I got ahead of my self and deco'ed over the numbers, so then I had to freaking measure...ugh!  If I had been smart, I would have marked them on the paper beforehand!
