61  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Pictures of my handmade obsessions..... on: July 25, 2004 08:36:22 AM
I've been making jewelry off and on again since I've been a little girl.  The start of the year, I began getting serious and now have started selling my stuff to support my "habit".....

Here's a few pictures

I love the tribal beads in this bracelet.  They were a lot of fun to work with.

I have a lot of neutral colors in my clothing, so this one gets a lot of wear!

The pictures don't do the jewelry justice.

62  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / An idea that came to me in my sleep..... on: July 25, 2004 07:37:01 AM
Is it bad if you start dreaming of crafts in your sleep?  lol

Anyways, I had a dream the other night for a swap.  Someone takes a couple of objects (an old key, some fabric, a magnet, for example) and sends it off to their craft buddy.  Their craft buddy, in return, makes something with the said objects and mails it back to the original owner.

I don't think I've come across a thread like this.
63  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / The Swap Gallery / Secret Craftsters!~ yr-long swap(started 7/18/04) on: July 24, 2004 08:21:28 AM
Hello.  I didn't see a thread started for pictures of stuff we have received.  I received a teaser yesterday.

On the back she wrote "Do you want to know who I am?"

Pretty sneaky......to answer your question.........maybe..I'd rather do some sleuthing around to find out. Grin
64  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Need helpful tips on painting wine glasses on: July 21, 2004 08:43:34 AM
Hello.  A cousin is getting married soon and I'd like to make her something useful.  I was thinking of painting a flowers on wine glasses.  I like to paint the flowers on so you can see through to them on the bottom of the glass (not the stem).  Any suggestions on how to layer the colors & protect the paint from being washed off?
65  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / My first stained glass project....a sun suncatcher-now w/picture! on: July 11, 2004 04:12:48 PM
My mother-in-law does beautiful stained glass.  This winter she taught me how to make a suncatcher.  It took about 7 hrs to do, after the pattern was cut out and the glass was selected.  http://tinypic.com/pduu

I'm sure I could make a piece quicker, now that I've made my first one.
