By the way, what is it that you sell/make?

If I would have spent more time decorating pizza boxes as I did eating pizza in college, I wouldn't have gained any weight!! Cheesy

Great idea, by the way....

An idea may be to go to yellowpages.com or dexonline.com and do a search for boutiques in a certain metro area (i.e. Kansas City, Tempe).  You may also want to try going to a search engine and typing in boutiques and the particular metro area.

Never forget the power of networking.  You may want to look into joining organizations such as NAWBO or ABWA, both are great networking opportunities.  You tend to around women who have connections when you are involved in those groups.

Hope this helps!!
734  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / Website Design on: May 02, 2004 06:55:15 PM
I am starting up my own jewelry design business.  I have a domain name and am looking for website development help, inexpensively.  My brother in law was going to help me, but has gotten too busy.  I'm not afraid of making the website myself, but don't know programming languages and don't want to use a site like geocities.  Any suggestions?

I would agree with many of the posts.  Your website is nice, from a graphic design standpoint, however, it is not clear what you are selling or even that you are selling goods without looking into the site further.

Best of luck with your business.  Starting a business at such a young age can only mean great things to come!
