11  COOKING / Recipes and Cooking Tips / Re: Art Party Food- help! on: June 22, 2006 05:47:36 AM
All these ideas are great.  Maybe I should serve Campbells tomato soup and see if anyone gets the reference.  Smiley
12  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / Art Party Ideas??? on: June 19, 2006 08:25:30 PM
Hello.  We are throwing a party during an art festival (in which the festival will be held in our own back yard and the streets/blocks surrounding.)  I'd love to have suggestions for activities/food.

We are going to have several canvases for people to paint on (to be left and decorate our place) and are thinking of having a "paint" your own cupcake or cookie.

I was thinking of having several pictures of famous paintings/artwork and test people knowledge of artists.

More suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks,
Sandy

Hello.  My husband and I will be throwing a party during an upcoming art festival and am looking for ideas for food to serve. It would be cute to have artsy names to the food as well (such as Picasso's pizza.)  The party will be during the afternoon, so lighter foods are preferred.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

15  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Spring Swap?? on: April 10, 2006 07:57:32 PM
Last year I organized a Spring swap, which was a lot of fun. Any interest in doing an '06 version?  (At this time, I'm not able to organize.)

Yes, I am very fortunate to receive such a wonderful package from Aeron.  Everything is well made and suits my personality.  Thanks, again!

Am I the first to receive?  I received the most awesome package from Aeronberry.  I'll post pictures in the gallery, shortly!

How is everyone doing?  I'm not as far along as I'd like, as I've been sick for the past 10++ days.
20  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: Beadness: hell in dress form on: February 17, 2006 07:07:22 AM
The dress looks great!  It has a 20s deco feel to it.  As a beader, I'd be careful about using fishing line for projects I'd like to keep around for awhile.  Its my understanding that the fishing line will disintegrate over time.  If you decide to make another one, maybe use PowerPro (my favorite) or Fireline.
