Yay! I picked up my package today and I love it!

I'll take pictures tonite when I get home.

the awesome notecards. I think im going to hoard them..i dont like sharing (wink)

a closeup on the awesome turtle bag!

I tried over and over to get a picture of the handcarved turtle soap, to no avail. However, my favorest thing (which I couldnt photograph either) was the stuffed turtle with interchangeable shells!!! I've already changed him a few times, teehee.

Thanks so much craftADDchick, you were an awesome partner!

So, Tortue arrived last week, and I finally found the camera cord.

A few pictures to update everyone.

As soon as I got him out of the box, he wanted to nap..it was a long drive home, so I buckled him in and took off

When we got home, he saw 1 of the 4 tv's in the house and wanted to   explore. However, the remote doesnt seem to work well with turtle flippers.

So, he asked Steve, the wonderful SO, to help him out. Needless to say, they became fast friends, and Tortue was given the honorary position on top of Steve's head when he plays videogames.

haha. He's fitting right in.

I'm itching to get my next tattoo, i just cant quite get the specifics right. I KNOW that I want a lotus flower on the inside of my right wrist. I know I want it really simplistic, just an outline, but I cant seem to draw one just right..Sad

Any great artists out there that can help me out? I know I want it similar to the one below, minus the heart...

49  Felt 'NAME BOOKS' for young'uns (3 pics) in Completed Projects by rira on: June 20, 2006 01:25:29 PM
With 3 neices and nephews (soon to be four) under the age of 2 in my family, birthdays get difficult. They all have to be similar, and since I'm the one of my family in college, they almost expect presents from me to be "educational" ...so what's a girl to do?

Make felt books with their names in them. With each letter on a page with an image of that same letter,

I cut their name out of felt "Makayla" in this case, for the front of the book, and bound them with thread to make them kid friendly.

these were my favorites, I love dinosaurs Smiley

overall the babies were content, trying to read them to themselves, and their parents were amused too.

what do YOU think?
