11  Re: Personal/Private Swap Gallery, 2014 in The Swap Gallery by Glamis on: July 21, 2014 01:09:07 PM

I know I am very, very late! But I had my annual private Mini Halloween swap 2013 with monkey_girl and wanted to share the awesome stuff:

Day one:

creepy stationary. I ecspecially love the pencil case

Day two:

a bunch of fingerless gloves. I already received some in last years swap but it is always great to have a decent variety, right?! Plus black nail polish. My favourite are the rainbow striped ones.

Day three:

Some hoops. I love the kittie ones. I hung them over the scratching post.. Grin

Day four:

"A few things to add a touch of Halloween for my wardrobe"

Day five:

A cross stitched hoop. Design is by her boyfriend. Talented, right?!

Day six:

a wee pouch filled with crafty bits and pieces. In my oinion you can never have enough of that  Wink

Day seven:

She includes a craft book every year. This time I got a steampunk one. I am not very much into steampunk but this book has a lot of inspiration.

Day eight:

An "attachable" fake fur collar plus two brooches (skull one by her boyfriend)

Day nine:

Some beauty product (that I seem to be allergic to although theyre natural, damn) in a pouch, felted soaps and mirror stickers (reusable, yeah!)

Day ten:

Creepy kitchen stuff. Handmade coaster, straws and glasses

Day eleven:

Was "boyfriend" day. He got laces, a patch and a vintage horror book (I stole the patch, bf is not into bold colors, or colors at all...weirdo  Grin)

Day twelve:

A pouch, some badges and a reversible headband. Those kittie and ghost badges are funny because our cat usually sits in the middle of the room starring into the air and we often joke: look she is talking to her ghost friends.

Day thirteen:

Sorry, no photo. But it was a lantern, a yo yo and a printed framed canvas
I think I also got a twinkie chan crochet book but also no pic, Sorry!

I was fun as usually and I am looking very forward to this years loot! Thanks monkey_girl!  Smiley

I received a villainous package from Harvey:

I got a supercreepy pennywise messenger bag. Unfortunately the strap is a bit short but I think I can fix that. And the inside is rainbow. Yay!

I also got a supercute poison ivy poppet. I love all her little details and the leafs in her hair. My friend asked me if I made her. I assume that is a compliment for both, Harvey and me  Wink

P.S. her hair is supersoft

and a extra skull button. It is quite big (compared to my finger  Wink)

Thank you Harvey, I love all my " bad boys"  Grin

15  Re: Monster Swap Round 5 Gallery in The Swap Gallery by Glamis on: March 29, 2014 10:25:32 AM
I am posting pictures for my partner teaspoons and tiaras since she has technical difficulties. They are from my phone so the colors are a bit off. But you get the idea  Wink
Here is what I sent to her:

a fleece/wool/beads stuffie ( I used the childhood craft here: a knitting doll)

a cookie monster and some kind of dragonish monster. Those have these yellow parts from kindereggs inside, you can open them and kind of have a secret compartment

two felt pins

Adventure time cards

plus matching envelopes

did you all like my "supertidy" workspace?  Wink

Look at the fluffiness teaspoons and tiaras made for me:

a skeleton mermaid bracelet and zombie parts bracelet, both inspired from my pinterest. The mermaid is very detailed and the fingers on the zombie hands are tiny!

a furry notebook. I call it the Frankenmonster notebook because it it pieced together from different fur pieces.

she even put a sweet little dedication into it

and a superfurry purse with big monster eyes. It is supersoft and I want to cuddle it all the time

plus extra

thank you for a wonderfull package. I like it very much  Cheesy

18  Great white in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by Glamis on: February 17, 2014 12:46:10 AM
Hello!
I made a "jaws" inspired purse.
It is made from faux leather and a bright red zipper.
It has an inner pocket and an adjustable strap.
I really suck at photography, Sorry!
Pretty much speaks for itself, doesnt it?

I made this mini poppet as a thank you for a swap angel.

His shirt is freezer paper stenciled

His hair is embroidered. The filling came out a little bit. Sigh

His eyebrows are embroidered too. And his eyes are acrylic-painted

He has a backside too

His shoes are made from beige faux leather. I painted the brown parts.

Here he is in a typically pose

Another one. A failure attempt on the spock hand sign. He only has 4 fingers. It is waaaaaaaay easier that way.

I know I totally forgot to make socks.

Be prepared to be jealous ;-)
I received a preciously beautiful necklace from phoenixfiredesigns
She hand casted and painted the skeleton and the necklace is made from glass pearl and jade. I really like that it is quite heavy so it doesnt "dangle" that much and it is the perfect lenght.
Thank you phoenixfiredesigns. Now I have to get changed into an outfit that matches the necklace so that I can wear it :-D
