Haven't posted anything finished lately as I've been working on a granny square blanket for father's day. BUT I did take a break to embroider a t-shirt for myself.

38. Embroider a Tshirt for myself

I always embroider stuff for other people and never keep things for myself so I decided to do something that I can actually wear. I reallly love Sailor Jerry so I decided to embroider a Sailor Jerry ship on a simple t-shirt and... I LOVE IT.

-was a normal closet with bifold doors.

little boxes to put knick knacks in.

32. Make Dahlia brooch from NotMartha

For my mother in law for Mother's Day

26.Make a fabric cover for my computer screen

Turned out Ok, A bit baggy, I realized after I started making it that it would fit weird because of the shape of the back of iMacs. Oh well. It will still do it's job!

Still working on figuring out the sewing machine and digging stuff out of boxes.
Can't find a darn ruler or measuring tape so for my sister's needle roll without a pattern it was done with that "well what could go wrong" attitude.

Well I'll tell you what can go wrong.

Your pockets could end up on a slant! lol. THis was more due to my pin holding that side slipping. Honestly she wont care, she's my sister, and it's free. AND i'll just pretend I meant for it to be like that  Cheesy

23.Make a knitting needle roll for my sister

When my husband and I moved at the end of September I was without a sewing machine (used to use my mom's) Then for Christmas we pull names in my family and just spend 100$ on one present. SO i asked for a very basic sewing machine from my brother in law who pulled my name.

Christmas time....YAY SEWING MACHINE.
But wait...our place is still not all set up....I have no craft desk still *ahem hubby*
Well yesterday was....yup....March 26 and I just took it out of the box, STILL NO CRAFT DESK LOL
It's on the living room table.

But I did get to start my sewing projects.

Now for my first project on my new machine a TEA WALLET!

#1. Make a tea wallet for myself.

Now the stitching isn't GREAT, but for my first project on the machine and figuring out the machine's personality I'm happy that it actually turned out semi-decent at all.

Finished another project last night, mainly due to pressure from the hubby to get it finished so he could bring it to work already! lol.

I'm feeling that most of you have the same problem I have, You finish one project but add two more to the list at the same time.  Smiley

#27. Onesies for hubby's co-worker who just had twins

I thought the patterns were perfectly suited for 2 twin little boys Smiley

28  Zombie CrossStitch from Zombie kit in Needlework: Completed Projects by MissKerouac on: March 20, 2011 11:20:14 PM
The zombie xstitches are all probably going to end up on sewn projects, although the work bites one might end up at  my desk at work lol. They have not been ironed yet so the "Zombies only want you for your brains" one looks kinda wonky in the picture.

The patterns are from this kit (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/books/product.aspx?r=1&isbn=9781435124103&itm=1&if=N&cm_mmc=Skimlinks-_-k186085-_-j12871747k186085-_-Primary, which has cute patterns but they patterns aren't very well done  Undecided
They used colors for the map instead of symbols and because in some of the patterns there are several threads that are similar in colour it's really REALLY hard to tell which is which. I b.s.'d my way through the skin of the Miss Zombie one.

And the start of a granny square blanket. I had 1.5 balls of camo yarn laying around and a ball of black. So that's as far as the camo got me, but at least they are crocheted and waiting to be joined by others.
