You know I have been there before too. I've had a few people not even say ANYTHING not even that it wasn't really for them. Nothing. I think that hurts the most. Also the fact that they were creative people themselves made it sting a little more.
I no longer sew over pins, and in fact I've started using them. I've also started ironing and prepping the fabric.
I guess my bad habits would include... - Not working on lining things up as much. - Not planning things out and sort of just jumping in. - Making a HUGE mess in my sewing area. - I don't know if this is a "bad habit" so much as a lack of skills or patience, but I tend to not sew straight lines.
There are two things that I normally don't like... bright rainbow colors all put together and patchwork skirts (although I love patchwork quilts). But, when I looked at this and I was just awe struck. Not only is it just gorgeous and well put together, but it's a testament to working so very very hard at something and having a beautiful, creative, fun end result. I was just writing a blog post about creativity and what happens when you share. I know just how you feel.
Please don't let them get you down. You're a amazing artist.
Chelsea I always love everything you post, but these are especially ridiculously adorable. I mean, when I look at them I feel like my face is about to explode!!! Thank you so much for posting your creations, they're just great!
