Okay! this was in a crazy expensive scrapbooking magazine so thought i would share with you guys!

Supplies:
2 pieces of chipboard 5.5 x 8.5 inches each
3 manila envelopes 9x 12
1 sheet of 12x12 patterned paper
bone folder or something like it
2 sheets of 8.5x11 cardstock
hole punch
twine twill or ribbon
industrial strength double sided tape
embellishments

First i was like ok i have NO chip board so i looked around and........a old binder appeared one of those plastic covered ones i cut off plastic.....and WOW chipboard! =)

pic of torn up binder and 3 envelopes

Cut your chip board to size then slide into one envelope side by side....leaving about a inch in between so you can punch your holes....
fold each envelope and cardstock in half with bone folder or something

http://i66.photobucket.com/albums/h270/enchantedwisperz/000_2461.jpg

punch holes 3/4 inch up in envelope on each side...line up cardstock and punch holes inline with the holes in envelopes....about 1/2 inch from both sides

lay cover flat....with the flap that closes the envelope to the right...stack one sheet of cardstock ontop then another envelope with the flap to the left...repeat....it should look like this.....

now grab some ribbon and other twill.... eyelash yarn ....whatever and string thru the holes in the middle ......and tie in the back.....
use the double sided tape to cover the book and embellish away! =)
I made my closure  by cutting ribbon and glueing and brading it only on the edges of the book (so the book can open)....

im sorry for horrible tute....heh first time! =) hope you make a great book!
