Have you ever had a resin take a full 72 hours or longer to set?

Mine are almost always fulled cured within 36, even though it says it may take 72.

If it hasn't cured fulled in 72, does that mean it won't set at all?

It doesn't leave impressions to handle it, but you can poke it with a toothpick and it leaves impressions. It's been 48 hours.

I was originally making this plush toy for my boyfriend. Oy, but I made his arms all wonky. So, pillow for puppeh! It is made from fleece and felt and lotsa stuffing.

So, I purchased some vintage style lockets with insets in the top. Gathered up my vintage ephemera and resin and got dome-happy.

The text in the first locket reads "I think I love you". I experimented with resin and sealant, trying to make the paper look distressed before I put it in the resin. I love how it turned out. It's like glass.

I am seriously in love with this necklace. It was a custom order and I may not be able to give it away..... just kidding! I just hope she likes it. You can wear both locks together (like she requested) or you can wear each necklace separately. All components are vintage. The locks are from the 40's/50's, I believe. The key is quite old as well, though I'm not sure exactly how old.

Which paint should be used on metal jewelry (specifically, pendant frames), to reduce the risk of scratching/scraping? I'll seal it as well, but I'm unsure if I should use spraypaint or... 

My attempt with plain ol' Krylon was unsuccessful.
