1  Dracubot! in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by miserylovesme on: September 30, 2007 04:10:54 PM
I was originally making this plush toy for my boyfriend. Oy, but I made his arms all wonky. So, pillow for puppeh! It is made from fleece and felt and lotsa stuffing.

Dracubot sneaking up on unsuspecting PUPPEH:

Fight evil with cuteness! Puppeh wins!:

Fighting makes us sleepy:

It's my first ever stuffed toy. And it's covered with dog hair, I know, but it's cute yeah?  Smiley

3  Resin lockets and assorted wooden pendants [IMAGE OBESE] in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by miserylovesme on: September 26, 2007 03:05:51 PM
So, I purchased some vintage style lockets with insets in the top. Gathered up my vintage ephemera and resin and got dome-happy.

The text in the first locket reads "I think I love you". I experimented with resin and sealant, trying to make the paper look distressed before I put it in the resin. I love how it turned out. It's like glass.

Nerd Locket (flawed - oops!):

8  Locked Down *better pics now* in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by miserylovesme on: September 17, 2007 05:03:56 PM
I am seriously in love with this necklace. It was a custom order and I may not be able to give it away..... just kidding! Smiley I just hope she likes it. You can wear both locks together (like she requested) or you can wear each necklace separately. All components are vintage. The locks are from the 40's/50's, I believe. The key is quite old as well, though I'm not sure exactly how old.
