That is gorgeous!

And I don't see why you can't put it on a baby boy...  lets face it, he is hardly going to care about what he is wearing!

17  CROCHET / Crochet: Completed Projects / Scarf for my Daughter on: February 04, 2008 10:47:17 AM
My eldest daughter had managed to loose yet another scarf at school, so I had to make her a replacement.

I used some yarn leftover from knitting sweaters at Christmas and came up with a fairly basic pattern...

It only took me an afternoon and an evening to complete, and she was pretty pleased with it (lets hope she doesn't loose this one!  Roll Eyes )

More details incl the very basic pattern on my Blog

Wool is the best for diapers.

WHAT?!?!  Ok, I'm using disposables (sorry), so I don't know much about cloth diapers, but wool???  Why?

Wool is naturally breathable, so you tend to get less diaper rashes if you use wool...  also they don't need to be washed every time either, and lanolin has antibacterial properties, so it not only makes the cover water resistant, it helps stop them smelling too...

I loved wool covers over my babies diapers - not only did they work better, they looked so darn cute too!

To the OP...  have you thought about making longies as well?  you can use those instead of PJ's at night, and also in the daytime instead of pants.....

Heh, thanks for all the comments...

I am almost done on a second pair for me too!  (different colours though, and it will be touch and go as to whether I have enough of the roving for the second pair....  I may have to do an abrupt colour change at the top of the second mitten if I run out...  not that it matters seeing that they are for me though!)
