you could make a batik

just melt the wax paint a design with it on fabric

then put it in dye the parts were the wax was will stay the original color

Im sure you can find site on batiks for better directions I hope I inspired you ^_^

i used to make little reindeer out of those

wrap a brown pipe cleaner around the top (part you screw in) then bend to look like antlers

then glue googly eyes on and a pompom for a nose

kind of looks like this

I just started macrame and I love it
ive only done small things so far like jewlery
but everything has come out looking great and everyone wants a hemp braclet
I want to make something for my boyf but he wont wear jewlery

I was thinking guitar strap...anyone have any ideas/patterns or reference sites?

I had a snow day and felt the littl crafty urge and decided welp Ill make a bag.  I had some left over fabric i used for pillows in my loft
All the bags Ive seen on here look so profesional, I hope mine is up to par Undecided

I actually intended for it to be a sweetheart top now that you mention it, but that didnt turn out too well so a stuck with the handy dandy tubetop 

Im always scared of too much of a v neck I always worry about being too revealing  but next time ill try and take the plunge

I made this tube top type shirt the otherday and realized, wow the bottom is deffinatly not going to fit over my bottom so i decided to sew it only half way down my back and have a slit where it wouldnt fit over my butt.  So thats what I did!!  I tryed it on and it made my bum look significantely lerger than usual not saying its a bad thing.  But the top really minimizes my already small boobs  oh well I still like it!

I did use a Mccalls pattern i forget which one
