1  A foxy super hero ^^ in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by booip on: July 01, 2007 03:41:10 PM
I got a custom order this week, a gift for a baby girl. My boyfriends brother wanted me to make a fox, a super hero-fox, and I only had two days. I made it just in time, actually sewed on my tag when he walked through the door to pick her up. Cheesy I'm pleased with the result even though I had to rush her a bit. The cape is knitted and the "A" stands for Alexandra, the little girls name. I still don't know if she liked her new friend but I do hope so.

I love the little toes! It's possible that I'll make toes on every single amigurumi now. Even the ones who don't normally have toes. Like fish maybe... Smiley

2  A pink little creature in Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects by booip on: June 03, 2007 05:37:33 PM
This is my little pet. Her name is Melira and she loves ice cream and skiing. She's got fairly big feet so she don't actually need any skis, I make her use a helmet though. You can tell by the fur around her neck that she's a creature of the winter, it keeps her warm in the snow.

She is about 20 cm tall and crocheted.

Look at those big ears!

Some details:
A little flower, tiny thumbs and toes and she's got a ribbon around her tail.

I hope you like her as much as I do Smiley
Thank you for looking!

3  Pricing panic! Please help. in Get Product and Website Opinions by booip on: December 27, 2006 03:07:06 PM
Hello all of you lovely crafty people!
I've been working on a special order for awhile now and just finished it today, and now my new, least favourite part is here, pricing. I have never sold anything before and I now realised that I don't know how to price this girly bear. I don't want to feel like I'm not getting enough payed for my work but I don't want to feel like I'm robbing the buyer either. Undecided I'm sure some of you are dealing with the same problem and would really like to hear your thought on the matter. Smiley

Here's the bear. She took about 13 hours to make and the material cost was about $10

I'll be thankfull for any thoughts! Smiley

4  Mini stuff for giraffe in Polymer Clay: Completed Projects by booip on: October 16, 2006 08:55:36 PM
Just made some things to put in my new amigurumi's bag.
Here's the bag with the thingies...

and here are the thingies next to a match for scale.

Thingies are: cellphone, mp3-player, panda-mascot, wallet, lip balm, pen and notebook. The notebook is made of paper and the pen from a toothpick.
Here's the link to the giraffe if you want to look at it. Giraffy likes the stuff, altough they are a little small for him. Cheesy

5  Big yellow tax... er... giraffe in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by booip on: October 16, 2006 08:25:37 PM
This giraffe had been standing on my WIP-shelf for a couple of months and this weekend I decided to finish him up, and well... today I actually did. I'm so proud. Smiley Don't know why it's so hard to complete projects, I must have about fifteen halfmade amigurumis on that shelf. >_< I think I'll have to finish all of them before I start something new... That's easier said than done, right?

Here are some pics of him/her. Boy/girl? What do you think?

The little bag is filled with polymer goodies. Clicky here for more info.

The pattern is from Amigurumi Collection 3. I loooove that book! Cheesy
I made some minor changes to the face to get the look I wanted. The giraffe is about 25 cm tall and very chubby and hugable.
Hope you like him too.

Edit to add link.

6  Amigurumi bunny and carrot in Amigurumi: Completed Projects by booip on: October 08, 2006 09:05:12 AM
Hello all you crafty people!
So this is my first post here in the crochet-board, and only the second on craftster. Man, I've got to speed up Embarrassed
Anyhow... Here's a little bunny I made for my friends baby boy. The pattern is from Amigurumi Collection 3, I just made some small changes. I used a great yarn that allows you to put the whole bunny in the washer when it gets too drewled at. Cheesy The carrot pattern is my own. I really like how they both turned out and the little boy who received them started sucking at the ears right away, I take that as a good thing. Smiley

Thank you for looking!

7  AmiGIRumi and his rubber piggy in CHALLENGE 15 ENTRIES by booip on: October 04, 2006 06:55:32 PM
This is my first post here on craftster. A challenge was just what I needed to get me going. Smiley
My entry is a crocheted GIR, my favorite robot ever, and his beloved (bad, bad) rubber piggy.

Oh, look at that crazy piggy!

He's one lazy robot...

Close up of piggy

GIR is about 30 centimeters tall and the piggy, who's made from polymer clay, measures 6 cm.
Both me and GIR were very exited about entering this challenge!  Cheesy
