3  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / viking 183- computerized-- SUPER BIG QUESTION+++++ on: May 17, 2008 04:23:05 PM
ok I got this computerized emerald 183
and I get how to do everything so far except

***   how do you put the presser foot up ??   ***

I cant figure out how to get the fabric underneath the foot, its always in sewing position like there is already fabric underneath the needle.
this sucks.
please help if you know or if you have a different computerized sewing maching with some secret or painfully obvious way to raise the presser foot, im sure its right in front of my face.
thanks!
kim
