i just wanted to share a couple of the small snuggles that ive been working on. they started out being 18 x 18 but after sewing they ended up at about 15 1\2 x 15 1\2. theyre really simple just 9 squares sewn together for the front and one big piece for the back.

the green leopard and purple are flannel and the red and purple/pink/red animal print is cotton.

theyre not perfect but i dont think the animals will mind.  Smiley

Well after many mishaps and lateness and postal-whatever, Nutella actually got her 12 days of chrismtas loot!

I snapped a few quick pictures of just a couple of the things I sent. Hopefully she can get better and a more complete set of photos for ya when she opens everything up!

Day Nine was a bunch of jewelry that I made for her.

This is a necklace with a ball pendant that was inspired by something she had on her wist.

earrings to match!  Wink

a necklace with a bunch of twisted beaded strands and then a black pendant.

blue "diamond" earrings

and of course there were 5 other pieces of jewlery but i didn't get a picture of them before I sent them out.

Andd just one more picture from day...six? i think.
Day six had a paisley theme. This was a paisley journal (my first attempt at bookbinding!) with blue and white papers. The page size is about 4.25" x 5.5" and there's somewhere around 120 pages.

Hope you like!!  Grin

For my day nine I got three bags of beads and two holiday trims.

For day eight I got 8 little ornaments for the tree made from various yarns, I believe. They look like they would made awesome cat toys as well! Too bad I dont have a cat...  Tongue

My favorite part is the little swirly hookies on the ends!  Smiley

Thanks!

My day ten from Nutella was a learn to embroider kit! Woo Hoo!! I've been wanting to learn!  Cheesy

It included an embroidery hoop, a piece of white fabric for practice, a few different colors of embroidery thread, and a bunch of little paper thingys that have images on them... I'm sure theres a more technical name for them and I'm sure they serve a very important purpose buttt I don't know what that is hehe lol sorry!!

5  My very FIRST journals!!! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General by shewilldieyoung. on: December 15, 2006 10:47:57 PM
This was my first attempt at bookbinding and making journals.

This was my first one, a purple paisley, made with blue and white papers. The page size is about 4.25" x 5.5" and there's somewhere around 120 pages.

Sorry, the last one is sortof blurry.

Thennnn after successfully creating that first one, I attempted another one! An even smaller one. It's made with orange and blue papers and  the page size is about 3" x 4" and has around 60 pages.

Whatcha think?  Smiley

Annnddd since it's a little after 1 AM here I opened my day 11 gift!

It was 11 mix CDs! They each have a theme:
--Love songs
--Oldies
--L.A. days
--Summer days
--Bruce...
--Winter nights
--Bands
--Festive
--Barenaked
--Christmas
--and I'm not sure what the last one is... it has numbers and letters all over it...?

Ignore the incredibly wrinkly fabric in the background...

Anddd attached to each of my day's gifts is a very cool little gnome card soo I just thought I should show it off!

Whatever day the card is for is how many gnomes are underlined! Cuuute right?!

I FINALLY got my new camera in the mail today! Yay! So finally you get to see pictures!

However, in my excitement of getting the new camera and using it for the first time, I forgot to take a picture of the actual stocking! DUH! So I'll add more pictures later!  Grin

Here's what elphalba sent me: (sorry some of the pictures are a little dark, still have to figure out how to work the camera properly!)

This is all of it together, a felted purse!, some jingle bells in pretty colors, which oddly enough match perfectly to the colors of the stocking I sent her!, some felt covered pens (they write in pretty colors too!), a set of ornament alphabet stamps, a tape measure (the square thing that says Paris on it, love that btw!), 4 star ornaments for the tree, 2 resin necklaces, and a resin keychain with bands i like on them, and there was also a package of peppermint sticks and a tshirt that aren't pictured!  Grin

Better picture of the purse and the grinch inspired felted pens! They're so comfy to hold when you write!

Closeup of the resin pendants.

Thanks so much Elphie!  Grin
I'll be sure to get a few more pictures up later... and hopefully remember everything this time!   Wink

I received some awesome stuff from fadeawaydream yesterday!

She sent me a mini mixed paper journal, sooo well made! It's covered in brown corduroy (did i spell that right?!) with ribbons and the inside has all sorts of beautiful stripey pages!

Then there were three fabric belts! All beautiful colors and she named them all too! How cute!

Thank you so much, I love it all!  Kiss

Sorry about the bad pictures, they really don't do the lovely colors and workmanship justice. Hopefully fadeawaydream has some better pictures for you!

The one that just built his house is a major skirt chaser. I wanted to make the boob pillows I saw on here but every pattern is for knitting or crochet. I can't find any ideas for sewing..

You could probably sew a boob pillow really easily. You could use a pattern for a round pillow. This one is Simplicty 3953.

See the purple and pink pillow in the bottom left hand corner? you could make two of those and then leave out the pink diamond. Use the smaller purple circle for the nipple area. then just connect them in the middle.

You don't even need to use a pattern. You could make your own with like, a big mixing bowl and a can of pringles! Lol or any other round objects you have around your house.
