I almost had a heart attack when I found out about the special that was being made! I've been a fan of RD since I could comprehend words! My dad's doing for getting me into it really, and it's only been the past few years that I've been able to buy out all the DVDs to replace my Videotapes. :]
I think the highlight of my days was when I met 'Cat' in Costa, and had a chat with him for a while about a few random things. Think we were discussing the merits of being an interspecies in deep space. Fun times! Oh, and another time when I met Craig Charles on holiday by the sea. Me and my sister ran up to him to tell him how much we loved the show, giggled immensely and went about our business as usual.

I haven't been on Craftster for several months, I decide to have a look and see Rimmer on the front page and gasp! Rimmer is my secret obsession.
Unless you were to do this swap a little later on, I don't think I'll be able to sign up, despite being the biggest Red Dwarf geek of the century! Too much on with Uni, but I'll make sure to stop in to see when sign ups might be, could possibly just go for it if it's far enough into the term.

CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Selling Crafts on Etsy.com / Re: The (new) Etsy critique thread!

Hello! I've been selling for a few months, and I'd love some feedback - I tend to be wordy - am I too wordy? LOL Any advice will be much appreciated - http://www.weeessentials.etsy.com Must say that your banner is lovely, so that's a bonus right away. :]
I think you a good thing to do would be to cut down on the huge paragraphs you've got on your shop announcement. I tend to skim a lot of peoples pages and I like to see the items from the initial click, I'm not a fan of scrolling. I cut my own down as I realised I was doing this a few weeks ago.

If I'm doing my photos in natural light, my camera has a cloud setting and I use that one.
I forgot about this tip. It really does help to brighten up your photos. Windows are good, but I prefer to take mine right outside on really sunny days. I find overly sunny days tend to wash out photographs, trust me. It's never great to take pictures in direct scorching sunlight, it's much better to have natural overcast light, or at least to not take the picture in the midday sun.

barbolot, sorry to hear that happened to you. D: If you look on the brightside, however, this is one incident out of the hundred or so satchets you've sold, right? If you and people you know are all using them and nothing is happening, you can't beat yourself up about it. Sometimes these things just happen, so don't fret. :]
