Amazing how a simple change (eliminating the straps) can turn a design from "meh" to "wow." I have some Berroco Touche in the stash that I've been wanting to use; your version has convinced me to use it on this Smiley

Meet Peanut Campbell:

You might see a slight resemblance to her more famous cell-phone-wielding sibling. Ms. Peanut, according to reports, is calmer in demeanor, if a little less well known. When she is not doing photo shoots on the beautiful shores of Stash Beach, she likes to chill out on the patio of her Janome mansion, the worth of which is reported to be in the thousands.

Unfortunately, scandal is no stranger to the Campbell family; nude photos surfaced on the Internet several months ago. When questioned about the photos, Ms. Peanut expressed no regrets. "It was fun, and I was naive and really young," the knitmodel said. "I was just born earlier that day."

Likes: the color purple, shoes, handbags, lace, swing dancing

Dislikes: moths, acrylic, obstacles on the runway, haters

In the near future, she plans to start a new clothing line, incorporating a wide variety of styles and influences. For now, though, she is content with strutting the runway, looking fierce. Cheesy

That's awfully cute. I didn't care for the original pattern much because of the buckle, but maybe I'll have to attempt it with your cable mod!

Hehe, yeah, my first reaction when I'd finished sewing the hair on was "hey, it's Tyra Banks as a peanut."

I knit mine with slightly bigger yarn (maybe sportweight or worsted, don't remember). Here's how she turned out:

I stuffed the arms because I wasn't sure about her having tentacles. She was actually finished her months ago; I  have been too lazy since to make her any clothes. Reading this thread has inspired me to get off my butt and make some Smiley
