Congrats! I'm working on my first sock ever as we speak, and I thought I got the hang of it, but suddenly I was knitting backwards so the WS is on the outside. Oops!

The colors are really nice. I like the violet with the orange a lot. And I learned that if you want both socks to start on the same color, you have to remember what color the first sock began with and cut your yarn to that color for the next sock, then start knitting.

The memory wire bracelets are FAB! I might have to borrow the idea!

I've been on vacation for the past week with no time for crafting, let alone Craftster-browsing. It feels great to come back to a new layout. It just feels more...crafty (with the corkboard and coordinating colors and all).

Between this thread and the original 400 page thread, I just had to change my hair.  So I dyed it darkish brown and got a new cut today!  I've been dying it blond for 10ish years, so this is quite a change, but I love it!

That cut is super cute! If I were to grow out my current style, but keep the texture and layers, it would look like yours. And I love the warm brown color. Isn't change fun?
