1  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / Re: Show Off Your Hair! on: October 08, 2007 06:43:50 PM
MP Aftermidnight Blue (2 weeks old)

And how do you keeps yours so blue?

*taking notes*
I bleached it to a really light blonde in the first place, so that helps, but I really never wash it. After bleaching, my hair was more damaged than I expected it to be, so I can get away with not washing it and it won't look greasy.

I put the chunk in a small ponytail on the side of my head (looks ridiculous, btw), wash the rest of my hair, and rinse it all with cool water.

I really like the green and white pearly ones. They are just my style.
Oh, and the pink clusters, too.
5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Chuck Palahniuk Signed Survivor tote bag on: August 16, 2007 06:14:48 PM
I think ze quote is from "Choke."
I haven't read Survivor yet because it isn't at any of the county's libraries, and I have no monies to buy it. But that doesn't make your bag any less awesome!
6  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: Questions About Hairstyles! on: August 09, 2007 11:46:30 AM
Hi! I have a question.
My hair has been pretty flat latley so every morning (well, for the past few days) I have been teasing it. Then I comb it down a little bit. It looks good Tongue But I had one question- Is is bad for the hair to tease it? Like, does it damage it or something?  Undecided

You got it, teasing/backcombing does damage to the hair shaft or cuticle, or something like that. But I think if you deep condition every once in a while, your hair will be fine, especially if it hasn't been severely damaged before.

Usually when a dark brown comes out almost black, it lightens up with a few washes. I'd wait a few days to see what happens before trying a harsh color remover.
