Just finished my Patti Cardigan - hooray.
Anyways, a little bit about the project:
The pile of flesh is "Patti" from Rowan Studio 1 and is written and designed by Sarah Hatton. The pile of flesh is supposed to be 3/4 length sleeved, but mine is full length sleeved. This wasn't done on purpose - for some reason, my sleeve length just ballooned even though my gauge was correct (if not a little smaller!!!)
I knitted it in the required yarn, Rowan Felted Tweed in a teal colourway as I got inspiration from another craftster's finished object.
The project required 8 balls of yarn, and I used 7.5 for the knitting and almost all of the rest for seaming (had to reseam about 6 times because of the sleeve sizing issue)
The pile of flesh is very easy to knit and I would highly recommend it to people who are still starting out as it only requires garter stitch and stockinette stitch.
The bottom half takes a little longer to knit because you have to knit double the amount of stitches from the pleats, but all in all, it took me about 1 month to make.
I knitted this in the smallest size, for a size 32-34. However, I had to make modifications at my seaming stage because it was too big for me (i'm a 32). I took in the sleeves by about 6 stitches from each edge, and set the sleeves about 6 stitches in from where it should have been set. I think that the "small" is better suited for the 34.
