ice cream pants and top, didn't want to put beads on the top so I stitched them because it was a bit flimsy

38  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Weddings and Bridal Showers / Engagement Pillow and Napkins (IMG Heavy!!!) on: January 02, 2007 09:45:45 AM
Hi all,

I posted this in the embroidery section too but thought someone here may like it too...

I had a form for the pillow, but stictched the cover in lilac purple sack.  The monogrammed bag I just kind of made from the leftover pillow fabric to house the napkins..I hand embroidered the designs on the bag and pillow and silk was not as easy as I hoped to stitch on.

Hope you enjoy

40  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Completed Projects / Wedding and Cocktail Napkins (IMG Heavy!!! New Pics) on: December 30, 2006 07:57:57 AM
While my sister was recently in the hospital I had some time to craft.  It's funny I started to embroider last April when my hubby was in the hospital.  Hmm maybe I should stop embroidering and then no one with be in the hospital.. Shocked It helps the time pass much quicker.
My mom has me make things for her all of the time.  I made the wedding napkins for an engagement party, with an embroidered silk bag I made.  Silk was really hard to work with because it is so delicate.  I promise to post pics of that too.

The cocktail napkins are for someone for New Years...

My sister is doing better now too..

Comments are welcomed

p.s.The bottom is a picture of a pillow I made for an engagement party.  I made the bag for the napkins in the leftover silk from the pillow..
