26  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Jack Sparrow Necklace Box on: July 13, 2006 12:48:56 PM
Very simple to make but boy do I love it! Took one of those paper mache boxes that you see at craft stores and painted the gold layer first. Then I put that crackle paint on, followed by the black. I bought one of those small Jack Sparrow figures a while back and I couldn't bring myself to toss out the package because of the nice pictures on it. So I cut out the Jack ones and ripped the one on the front off. I put that picture on the bit of paper mache that slides out from the top with Mod Podge; I then trimmed the picture. After that I MP the entire thing. Its not done yet because I have to buy some foam and crushed velvet for the inside. Ill post pictures of that once I am done. I may add more to it too. Im going to do some more with pictures of my own!

Ill take better pictures later because my camera has been acting weird lately.
