I decided to make myself a new wallet, since the last one I made for myself was getting a little beat up.
I used faux leather scraps that were from a dress I bought from a second hand store (for the sole purpose of using it for fabric), an old leopard print pillow case, and an old table cloth.
Here it is from the front. I love the bow detail. I love bows in general so I had to do it
And the back. The whole thing is about 4" x 6"
I really wanted to include a wrist strap on this wallet, incase I need to go somewhere and don't want to take my whole purse, makes it easier to carry! The clip and and ring were from an old wallet chain or something that I found in my crafts stash and matched perfectly
And here's the inside. Its lined with leopard print, and the card slots are actually the WRONG side of an old silk table cloth. The good side of it was red, but the wrong side was a beautiful coral color that matched the zipper perfectly.
And here it is with my stuff in it. I couldn't get a good picture of the inside really, but on one side there's two card slots, and on the other side there's a cash pocket. I put my loose change in the middle, and everything stays in because it has a zipper closure!
One thing I wish I could fix is that I made the card clots a little tight on this one, so I can only fit 2-3 cards in each, where in my last wallet I could fit 4 o5 per slot. So I keep the rest of my cards in one of those clear card holders and just stick it in the cash pocket.
Thanks for looking everyone!
