1  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Casserole Cozy Pattern on: August 17, 2006 09:19:18 AM
I've searched high and low for a casserole dish cover/carrier pattern.
I've only found two, that aren't exactly what I'm looking for.
Does anyone know of where I could find one?
It would be much appreciated.

3  HOME SWEET HOME / Exterior Decorating / Yard Art / Gardening: Completed Projects / Re: More pots...yeah! on: May 30, 2006 08:13:10 AM
When I painted some terra cotta pots for plants a lil while back I used the acrylic I had available.  And the plants taht were transferred into them aren't doing so well, but were fine before the transfer.  Do you think this is attributed to the paint??  Are your plants doing alright? Curious as to if the paint could be soaked in by the soil some how?  I may be really thinking too deeply about it, but I've got a pretty good green thumb, so I guess I'm looking for a reason why they aren't doing very well.
4  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Discussion and Questions / Re: how to make a papasan loveseat cushion? on: May 22, 2006 02:26:52 PM
You can find anything online.  I had a sofa papasan for the longest time I eventually tossed it because it had def seen brighter days, and because I didn't know where to get a replacement cushion.  Looking now I found this site, the cheapest I could find to purchase (usually they go for 250.00 or so!).  I would be interested if anyone knew how to create one of these suckers though!
I thought about doing that, but didn't have the time to dedicate to it then.

5  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My first sweater! on: May 19, 2006 12:34:22 PM
I love that sweater!  How long would you say it took to complete?
Is this your first sweater?  how many other knit projects do you think you've done previously before this?  I'm in awe, I love the colors you chose.
6  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Re: the kinda outfit thats funny but not just plain odd! on: May 18, 2006 01:53:42 PM
One 'costueme' I've been tempted to try is Peg Bundy.  Obviously your blonde hair would need to be unfortunately covered with a big RED wig, but I think that would be a fun character to go as for an evening!   Just know that her WALK is the most important part!
7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: checkbook cover and cig case of love on: May 17, 2006 09:41:23 AM
I've been inspired!  I was just speaking of making a cell phone cozy-like holder, and I believe the cig case would work the same.  Superb...Just Superb!  Awesome job btw.  You've done good.
8  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: Quilt for my sister on: May 17, 2006 09:12:26 AM
This is amazing! You hand-quilted it!?  How long from start to fnish would you say it took you to complete?  The color scheme and all the fabric is purty!
9  QUILTING / Quilting: Completed Projects / Re: tree quilt on: May 17, 2006 08:53:02 AM
I think that's awesome!  My mum has been quilting for a little while now, and I know she'd love it too.

Its Just Acrylic paint that you are using, right?  I have been addicted to prettyin' up pots and planting new additions to my ever growing forest in my living room!  I think yours are very cute!
