1  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / Re: What to make for a guy who makes stuff? on: September 16, 2008 03:16:38 PM
The best part is making stuff, so I was thinking about doing a personalized cigarette case or something? Thanks for the suggestions!
2  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Misc. Gift Idea Brain Blockage / What to make for a guy who makes stuff? on: September 07, 2008 06:40:57 PM
I have this friend who's turning nineteen in maybe 20 days. He's a potter, and ceramics are about the only thing he does. He also likes coffee and clove cigarettes to the point of ridiculousness--in essence, he's your stereotypical art student.
I was thinking about throwing him a mug for his Mate, but he's about a thousand times better than i am.
Maybe something for his tools? Or his cigarettes?
What do you make for a guy who crafts too?

Your nightmare looks like G'mork from the neverending story.
5  CLOTHING / Clothing: Discussion and Questions / Debutante Ball? on: March 23, 2008 09:42:23 AM
Yes, it is what it sounds like. I, devoted craftster and unashamed freak, am debuting. It's all for my mom, I guess it will make her happy, but really, what the hell?
The worst part is the dress. It has to be white, can't be formal-length or mini, and has to be appropriate for a cocktail party, which just doesnt make any sense. Naturally, I want to make it, and i want to stand out, but I'm strapped for ideas.
Do you have any on what kind of dress would be appropriate for me, but also suitable for a fancy-schmancy society function?
6  Craft Swaps / ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED / Re: A jar of mini whimsies Swap - anyone interested?? on: March 23, 2008 09:26:51 AM
Oh yes yes yes please! And i really would prefer a plastic jar. I break stuff.

Hey, Grieney,
I was raised in Marietta, too! (and incidently went to school with Rackycoo's kids.) Seeing this made me smile, my mom and i have a joke that "it's on peechtree, if you've passed the waffle-house youve gone too far."

Wow, great job! These are a million times more steady than I could make mine.
P.S. Great job on being a 12-year old. I'm not even joking, I'm glad that some kids think that crafting isnt stupid or for old people.
