3  HOME SWEET HOME / Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: Coke bottle vase! on: June 12, 2009 12:29:15 AM
eh i too like this WITH the label but to take off such labels you can soak it in hot water for a day and the glue and all usually is easy to peel off and the paper usually disintegrates in the water Smiley
4  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: Graduation Gown? on: June 21, 2007 12:54:30 PM
Well....What i did was that i took my sash (like the honors, IB etc) and my cap and framed them along with a few photos and memory stuff...
but as for the gown i cut it up into small squares (in the number of students i had in my class) and made a small quilt out of it (had to buy little stuffing and a nice silky backing to it..but soo worth it) - now i have it ready for signatures for the reunion in a few years time Smiley -- each student has their own square to write in..
... meanwhile i use it when im sitting on my sofa watching a movie Tongue
5  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Scrapbooking: Discussion and Questions / Recommendations for DigiScrapbooking? on: June 18, 2007 12:40:33 AM
Well..I saw there was a huge topic on digital scrapbooking and everyone's opinions of it so i thought it would be nice to share a little on programs used for your digital scrapbooking Smiley

I was wondering what programs do you use?
What are the positives and negatives?
Whats your favorite feature(s) of the program(s) you use?

What program(s) did you start with?
Did you prefer it better than paper scrapbooking?

Do you have any advice for those who have or will start on digital scrapbooking?

all the best!
/Jasmine
6  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Re: So...I bought some bizarre squiggly glass marbles! Now what to make with them? on: February 20, 2007 04:34:33 PM
soo many possibilities for these...

mosaic coasters/ wall pieces / centerpieces to the tv table...maybe even those hotplate coasters...
you can smash them up into pieces then melt them together to make the suggested stuff above too - different variety i guess...
suncatcher tut works too
make little necklace pendants (they have tuts on wrapping round marbles, why not these?)
if they arent heavy you can make wacky earrings Smiley
Squiggly magnets Smiley simple and easy -- makes your fridge look soo much more interesting Tongue

hope that helps a bit...
