1  CLOTHING / Shoes: Discussion and Questions / old shoes to new shoes on: May 03, 2004 06:39:02 AM
oKay, I have made several shirts, a skirt and re did my shoes.  My shoes are black, platform and cute but I always wanted a classy pair of the "tie up your legs" sandals.  I took black satin ribbon, and began my jorney.  First I took a knife and carefully poked a hole on each side of both shoes.  Then you cut four ribbons however long you want, but make sure they are even.  Then you poke the ribbon through the holes and tie a knot on the inner part of the shoe, so the ribbon stays put.  Then you put your new shoes on and tie them up your legs however you want.  i am working on getting pictures, so bear with me.
