1  My Latest Creation In Homage To The Walking Dead in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by lumps on: February 23, 2013 08:15:39 AM
Hi guys

just wanted to share with you my latest jewellery piece. I absolutely love The Walking Dead and wanted to create something in honour of such an amazing programme. I have had the zombie cameos for a while but wanted to give it a bit more depth and make it stand out more so I added some texture to it to make it looked more aged and less perfect.
Hope you all like!

Take care

2  How Do I Create This Effect? in Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions by lumps on: February 23, 2013 07:33:03 AM
Hi guys

I make all kinds of jewellery for my shop in the UK including several cameo pieces but I am wanting to create a Zombie/The Dead range and wondered if anyone knew of any tutorials or just some advice on how to create the painted effect on the zombie cameo in the photo. I want some texture adding to it. Thanks for any help

Take care

3  Re: Where Can I Get These? in Crafty Business Discussion by lumps on: January 08, 2013 07:59:39 AM
My supplier is from the USA but I know she buys her stock from somewhere like China or Hong Kong, I just cannot find someone who might be her supplier to kind of cut out the middle man and save a bit of money.

I have managed to find better photos of the two designs she has stopped selling.

The black & cream owl cameos are 25mm x 18mm

The flower cameos are 30mm x 40mm and come in purple, grey, yellow, blue, red, orange, light pink, dark pink & cream

Hope you can see these better and thanks for your help guys

4  Where Can I Get These? in Crafty Business Discussion by lumps on: January 06, 2013 07:27:35 AM
Hi guys

any help regarding cameos would be greatly appreciated. I wondered if anyone knows where I can buy a wide range of cameos from, not just pre-made ones but somewhere that allows you to send your own designs in to be made as well.

I currently buy off a supplier on Etsy but the ones shown in the photo as well as a few others are not available from her anymore but they are some of my best sellers to need a new supplier for them.
With regards to the designing your own I know she does this and sells her designs on Etsy but I would like to have my own designs made up to make some more unique jewellery pieces for my business.

I have searched high and low on Google for somewhere that can do this without any luck but have got my fingers crossed someone on here will know.

10  Re: Business Name thread - Get opinions and ideas about names for your business! in Crafty Business Discussion by lumps on: December 18, 2009 07:15:47 AM
Hi all

after a lot of hard work I have finally completed my website but I am really not happy with my business name. It is currently Shine Charms & Jewellery. This was because I started off making beaded handbag charms but have now completely changed my stock and style as shown in the photos below but I am really struggling to find a name that will be easy to remember, stand out but indicate the style of jewellery I design and make. Can any of you give me any ideas for a suitable name, I am racking my brains.

Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated
Hugs
Laura
