1  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Discussion and Questions / Re: Craftster Chat: I Has It on: May 03, 2009 09:55:45 PM
If more people came on the chat and came regularly there would be someone there for the other people to talk to!

(I think I followed your food blog persephone o.o; Shiyiya on PMOG btw)

IRC is, sadly, a bit impenetrable if you're not a hugely techy person; even I had trouble with it at first and HTML and CSS are my second and third languages respectively, all after English and before French [grin]

Anyway, I'm sat in #craftster for the first time and it's looking a bit lonely. Anyone care to join me?

There's usually two or at MOST three people there, it's just a bit quiet >_<

Also, I seem to recognise your name... Do you play PMOG, I mean, The Nethernet? Pretty sure I took a mission of yours the other day Tongue
3  Arizona / Arizona: Central / Attention Tucson knitters, crocheters, and spinners! on: April 28, 2009 03:28:00 PM
I'm moving overseas in a few months, and it is *totally* unfeasible for me to take any of my yarn stash with me, which makes me unhappy, but, well, what can you do. I also have something over a pound of unspun wool of random colours, a good deal of it white and brown. Also big handspun singles of brown, and hand-dyed variegated green ones. I'd like to be able to get some money for some of this (for example, the $120 worth of various colours of Lion brand suede), but mostly it just needs to go to someone who can use it.

Pictures of a good deal of the yarn collection can be found at http://s127.photobucket.com/albums/p146/IvyElfMaid/Crochet%20etc/Yarn/. There's even more not pictured, including the fiber and homespun stuff - this is just pictures I had already taken for ravelry. PM me if you're interested in any, please!
4  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Tshirt quilt help! on: April 27, 2009 12:36:40 PM
So, I have 26 tshirts of some amount of sentimental value, seven of which there are things on both sides I want to use, that I'd like to turn into a quilt. Any tips or tutorials anyone can share? I've never made a quilt before o.o

edit wait, possibly 27, jsut found another in the bottom of the bin I was using for them. Don't want to recount >_<

I always thought it was Alfred Hitchcock who said that, only in different wording. It seems not though. Wonder where I got that from.

Alfred Hitchcock is f*cking awesome though.
